Ideal candidates will have a strong data integration background with specific experience in the data streaming and Kafka/Confluent specifically. Candidates should have broad experience and understanding of data architecture principles, data integration patterns and data quality management.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience data integration
• 5+ years of hands on experience with Java/.NET core or Scala with strong SQL background.
• 3+ years of hands on Kafka/Confluent/Data Streaming development/operational platform experience
• Experience in working with Kafka connectors, Producer and consumer APIs
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka in a high-throughput production environment.
• Strong hands on expertise in debugging and fixing streaming jobs by looking debug logs and configuration tuning.
• Strong hands on expertise in managing Kafka replication patterns
• Strong understanding of Kafka architecture including offset management, partition and replication strategy and HA/DR requirements
• Setup Kafka on Kubernetes cluster (Big plus)
• Good understanding of Kafka Security
• Good understanding of Streaming message delivery semantics.
• Experience in service oriented and/or microservice architectures
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data integration and data quality management
• Ability to articulate design standards and patterns
• Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives with related or independent goals
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Desirable Skills

• Prior experience with TIBCO EMS, MQ, or RabbitMQ
• Experience running and troubleshooting Kafka and scale with Kubernetes would be ideal.
